What is a life coach?
As a professionally CTI and an ICF trained life coach, I guide you through a life transition, such as finding a new career, or looking to start a new relationship or resolving a family conflict.
 
What is coaching all about?
Coaching is all about you, the client.  It’s a safe place where you talk about yourself for the whole session, dialogue that focuses on moving you forward by unearthing what is most important for you. 
You talk about your dreams, goals, and what is holding you back.  What you say, what I really hear, what you really mean: these are steps that lead to a solution.  I use a variety of techniques and tools as well.  The goal is to move you from A to B in finding a more fulfilled life.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Life Coaching is an ongoing professional relationship that can help you to produce extraordinary results in your life, career and businesses. Life Coaching is not counseling or therapy; it is forward looking and achieving positive results.  Therapy works in the past.

What do the coaching sessions look like?
Sessions are one hour long.  You come to coaching with a topic of the day.  I use a variety of resources and exercises in the session.  The conversations are open and flowing, like dancing in the moment.  Your long-term goals are always the highest priority.

How does coaching work?
As your coach, I will show you techniques and simple strategies for helping you to close the gap between where you are now and what you want to achieve. 

What to expect through the coaching process?
  • Clarity  --On an on-going basis, coaching will help you to get and stay clear about you want to achieve or overcome and set forth the direction you would like to head in.
  • Accountability--Coaching is very much a joint journey and as your life coach, I won’t give you advice or tell you what to do; together we will create goals for you that will be realistic and achievable and, most important, inspiring to you.  We check in periodically for updates on your progress.
  • Unbiased Input--Sometimes you have to answer the hard questions to get to the truth. All conversations are strictly confidential. Coaches are trained to be good listeners--soundboards for your thoughts and feelings.
  • The Opportunity To Focus On You--Your agenda is top priority.  We discover what fulfills you by determining  your values.
  • Personal Development--Coaching can be challenging and hard work, though also rewarding and fun. You will be looking at yourself honestly and challenging yourself to push beyond your comfort zones, enhancing your personal development.

Is there a guarantee that it works?
Yes.  You will have some form of transformation after a minimum of six sessions.
